In case you are unaware, NBHS stands for National Business Honors Society.’
Over the past few weeks we have been reviewing applications and deciding our members and our executive committee. Our executive committee consists of: Dylan Fairfield (Sr), Kelly Leon-Lara (Sr), Pri Ganta (Jr), Aline Gonzalez (Sr), and Sarah Chamberlain (Sr).
We have been planning many events for the foreseeable future. Those events include: Patriot Knockout, Christmas Bake Sale, Pi(e) Day, Earth Day Clean-up, and many others.
The Earth Day Clean-Up is an event that the National Business Honors Society is hosting, but we are also looking for other clubs of which are willing to collaborate and donate to the cause. The premise of this event is to clean up our school, fix the plant beds, put new flowers in, fix trash cans, and make the school a beautiful place to call home.
Overall, our goal with the National Business Honors Society is to improve our community as a whole: to create a thriving environment full of opportunities, especially for those who are accounting, marketing, and business oriented.
Unfortunately, our application deadline has already passed. However, if you are interested in joining the National Business Honors Society, and you are a Junior, that is plausible. You must have at least 2 business courses completed with a 3.0 GPA within those courses to apply. By the time you graduate, you must have 3 completed business courses in order to obtain a cord at graduation.
